- Anniversary ties
The price for the 175th anniversary necktie has now been set at Le 175,000 , to be sold at the school to Old Boys whose names appear on the register, between the 10th March 2020 & 14th March 2020
On the 16th 17th & 18th March 2020, the 175th anniversary neck ties will be sold on a first- come , first -serve basis to Old Boys whose names do not appear on register. - Thanksgiving contributions
The Old Boys Union will have to contribute towards the financial costs of the Thanksgiving service and the march past.the costs are associated with the following: - printing of service book
- hiring of bands for marchpast
- The printing of flex banners
- The general administration costs associated with the Union s management of the Thanksgiving including hiring a staff to receive contributions at the school.
Therefore each Old Boy participating at the Thanksgiving will have to pay *at the school, the sum of *Le 150,000* between the period 10th March 2020 and the 18th March 2020
There will be no one to accept payment of contributions on the day of the Thanksgiving. There will be very creative methods employed to ensure that Old Boys participating at the marchpast have paid Union dues aforesaid.
The decision above was arrived at by the Improvement Committee of the Old Boys Union against the background of several consultations with the school, the 175th anniversary committee and the Old Boys association [at the last general meeting of the Old Boys Union].
